Attendance
Research shows that attendance is the single most important factor in school success. Here’s how you can improve your student’s school attendance:
*Talk to your son/daughter about why it’s important to attend school regularly (and on time).
*Avoid scheduling family trips and doctor appointments during school hours.
*Make sure your son/daughter stays healthy by eating nutritious food and getting enough sleep and exercise.
*Don’t accept excuses for why your student “must” miss or be late for school.
*Support school rules and consequences for skipping class and being tardy.
Please contact the Attendance Office staff or school counselor if you have questions or concerns about your son/daughter’s school attendance.
